Microwaveble
Written and Directed by Louis Heywood Heath
Artist's Statement:
During the creation of Microwaveable I wanted to covey a feeling of discomfort and self-loathing through physicality and performance. Using techniques from both performance art and body horror elements I have created an Artist moving image piece that shows a transformation that takes place through being placed in a microwave.
A man is placed into a microwave and has a tinfoil cocoon emerge around him that eventually consumes him burning his skin and sticking tinfoil to their skin.
