Artist's Statement:

The Grey Collar is inspired by the idea that culture is repeating itself and in turn, the future is disappearing, the film is an extremely bleak yet comedic expression of this concept. Although the film is set in an unknown year in the future, everything is presented with 1960s/1970s aesthetics, a visual metaphor for a world that does not change. The perspective of this film is of a news segment by a corrupt media company, some of the fabrications being shown to viewers, this is a commentary on censorship within media.
